I never realized how many types of soda cleaning products there were when it comes to eco-friendly cleaning. I assumed baking soda, and it is the most popular one in my opinion, but there are a couple of others. These user-friendly products are safe for children, pets, and allergen affected people.

Baking Soda:

The minerals in this slightly alkalined powder helps to dissolve proteins and neutralize acids to increase the cleaning power of detergents by balancing the pH level of the water. Pour some baking soda down a drain and add an equal amount of distilled white vinegar to create a foaming reaction within the drain and pipes, which cleans and deodorizes the drain.

You can mix this miracle cleanser with water to form a paste to clean silver, surface rust, laundry, and coffee stained cups. You can even brush your teeth, and vacuum cleaner from Only Canister Vacuum to completely remove the dust.

Washing Soda:

Also known as sodium carbonate decahydrate, or soda ash, this natural mineral is effective for breaking down grease, removing stains, softening water, descaling coffee pots, espresso machines, and boilers. This can be found in the laundry aisle of most stores.

Club Soda:

Use this versatile liquid cleaner primarily for laundry. It is effective in removing stains from organic materials such as blood, coffee, wine, chocolate, and other food components.

The best part about these are you can experiment with them. Sometimes, I just try mixing a couple things together like I’m a scientist (which I am completely not) and have fun seeing what I come up with. The great part of the experimentation is it doesn’t hurt my wallet. All of these products are relatively inexpensive. So, experiment away!

If you aren’t into experimenting, leave the cleaning to the professionals like Eco Clean Madison.! They will leave your home in marvelous condition by the time they are done.

A clean home is a happy home!
