The end of the school year is nearing and the classroom mom in me wants to do something for all the kids. My son is leaving 1st grade and moving into 2nd grade, so at this age it’s still “cool” to do something fun for his classmates. Another couple of years and I’ll be telling a different story. Anyways, I was at the grocery store the other day and found little 2 cookie packs of Nutter Butters on sale, and an idea struck!
These Nutter Butter End of School Year Classmate Treats are a fun and tasty way to say goodbye to the school year and hello to summer. When I saw the Nutter Butter 2 packs at the store, I thought it would be cute to use a play on the word “better,” using “butter” in its place, and relating it to summer having officially arrived.
Yesterday I sat down at my computer and created a printable to attach to the Nutter Butter packages that says,
You “BUTTER” believe it’s SUMMER! See you next year!
Cute, right? I added a few summer graphics and left a little space beside the sun graphic for my son to sign his name. In less than 10 minutes he had signed his name on each one and I had stapled them to the Nutter Butter packages. I know both his classmates and his teacher will appreciate the gesture.
Now it’s on to summer. Anyone want to watch my kids?
