Have you seen the meme that shows a parent running barefoot across a treadmill filled with LEGOs? Many parents would agree that stepping on a LEGO block is the worst thing in the world and while I agree it hurts like heck, they’re still fun to play with. LEGOs are a great way to help your child become more creative and build their own worlds. Now, the creativity gets even more fun because Mayka Toy Block Tape is turning worlds upside down, literally.

Mayka Toy Block Tape from Zuru is an adhesive block tape that sticks to any surface, instantly taking your child’s imagination to the next level. Skip the basic block base plates and stick Mayka Tape up walls, around corners, underneath shelves, anywhere you can imagine. Then add all the block creations you want to make new worlds come to life.
Mayka Tape is compatible with major toy brick brands, including LEGO, Mega Blocks, Kreo and more. Each roll comes with 6.5 feet of reusable adhesive tape. Just cut the tape to the desired length and shape, and stick away. You also have a choice between 2 stud and 4 stud tape. And to keep things colorful, Mayka Tape is currently available in 9 different colors.
- Light Blue
- Light Green
When I first saw Mayka Tape, I knew it was something my kids would have fun with. They love to play in our open living room/kitchen area and the first thing that came to mind was sticking Mayka Tape to the refrigerator. And that’s exactly what we did.
They used their LEGOs to build rockets, dinosaurs, flowers and more, to place around their new vertical world. The Mayka Tape was easy to cut, shape and stick, and we have plenty more to try in other places.
I do want to note that if you stick Mayka Tape to a painted wall, it may pull the paint off when removing it. So be careful with that. We’re sticking to smooth surfaces like the refrigerator and undersides of shelves, and I’m even thinking it would be cool to do something fun around the outside of the TV in the kids room. It will be kind of like a frame for the TV.
Mayka Tape is a great gift idea this holiday season for kids and kids at heart. I know some of you still like to play with blocks. Even I like to get in the floor and build stuff with my kids from time to time.
Where will you stick Mayka Toy Block Tape?
