Family memories…let’s talk about ’em. I love decorating my home with family memories. I don’t have a lot of pictures from when I was a child and now that I’m an adult, it bums me out. I have a select few that I can show my kids, but so few that I can probably count their totality on my two hands; and most of them are annual school pictures – boring and staged. When I talk about decorating with family memories, I’m talking about the real, raw memories. True snapshots in time. To me, they make the best memories because they’re unstaged and simply in the moments of everyday life. I realized a few weeks ago I needed to add to the family memories I have on display in my home and knew right where to turn, my go-to for canvas prints, Canvas Factory.

When I decided I wanted to add a new memory to the wall, I started scouring some recent photos for the “perfect” memory to put on display. I’m not going to lie, it was a struggle at first. I couldn’t find a photo that stood out above the rest. One where my family was all looking at the camera. One that showed no movement because the kids were actually sitting still. One where our clothes were all clean.
Then I realized, that’s not real life. Not everyone is going to look at the camera. Not everyone is going to sit still. Not everyone’s clothes are going to be clean. There is no “perfect” memory. I mean, I don’t know about you, but a photo where I can get all of these things combined are nothing short of staged and that’s not a fun memory. It’s the everyday moments that make the best memories and those deserve a spot on the wall too. Once I realized this, I found THE photo.
Hard part done and on to the easy part, putting it on canvas. I have been ordering canvas prints from Canvas Factory for years now, not only for my own home, but for gifts too. After it took me a week to choose a picture, it took only 5 minutes to order my canvas.
Canvas Factory makes it easy. I choose what size canvas I want, add my photo and position it just how I want it, choose the side wrap style, and pay. After that, Canvas Factory keeps me up-to-date via email on every stage of the production and shipping process.
I always get a confirmation my order has been received, a notification once they’ve started production, another notification once my canvas ships (including tracking number), and even a notification when my canvas is out for delivery AND has been delivered. I would hate for my canvas to get ruined in the random rain showers we get here in Florida, simply because I didn’t know my canvas was sitting on my front porch, so I love that I know exactly when to expect it’s arrival.
