Octonaut Fish Biscuits (Sugar Cookies)

Honorary Octonauts have to be prepared for any kind of creature they encounter on their Octopod adventures, so I've taken a cue from Tunip and the Vegimals and baked up some Fish Biscuits just in case they come across some hangry marine life.
Ingredients
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 3 cups of flour
  • 2 tsp of baking powder
  • ½ tsp of salt
  • 1 cup of softened butter
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Prepare a cookie sheet and preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine the sugar and softened butter until smoothly mixed.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla, mix well.
  4. Add the baking powder and salt, mix well.
  5. One cup at a time, mix in the flour until the cookie dough consistency is thick but not too crumbly.
  6. Prepare a surface sprinkled with a little flour and be sure to lightly flour your rolling pin so it doesn't stick to the dough.
  7. No chilling of the dough is required so this is quick and easy! Just take a nice big handful of dough and roll it out evenly on the floured surface.
  8. Using a small fish cookie cutter, cut enough fish biscuits to fill your cookie sheet.
  9. Bake for 7 minutes and then remove the cookie sheet from the oven. Place the fish biscuits on a cooling rack and after a minute or two enjoy!
