We here in the Fort Myers, FL area may not be in the heart of Disney, but we can still enjoy Disney fun in our backyard. Disney On Ice presents Frozen is coming to Hertz Arena, March 15-17 and I’ve got all the details, plus a ticket giveaway!
~To help facilitate this post and giveaway, I received complimentary tickets from Feld Entertainment to attend Disney On Ice presents Frozen at Hertz Arena. As always, opinions are still 100% my own.~
Feld Entertainment, Inc., the worldwide leader in producing live touring family entertainment, is bringing the Academy Award-winning and #1 animated feature film of all time, Disney’s Frozen, to Hertz Arena (Estero, FL).
Are you ready to “Let It Go?” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” Then you and your family won’t want to miss this performance!
Capturing the dynamic of royal sisters, Anna and Elsa, this live action performance will retell the complete adventure of Disney’s Frozen. Anna, a girl with an extraordinary heart, embarks on an epic journey to find her sister, the magical Elsa, who is determined to remain secluded as she finally feels free to test the limits of her powers. Rugged mountain man Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, the lovable and hilarious snowman Olaf, and the mystical trolls, help Anna along the way in this story about love conquering fear. Audiences will get to sing along with such musical masterpieces as “Let it Go,” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” and “Fixer Upper.”
And it’s not just our favorite Frozen characters who will make an appearance. Other characters who will take the ice include Mickey and Minnie Mouse, some of our favorite Disney princesses, as well as Toy Story, Finding Nemo, and The Lion King characters. Together, they will all prove that true love is the greatest power of all.
What to expect:
Temperature – If you’ve never been to a Disney On Ice show, there are a few things you might want to know. The first is that it’s going to be chilly. To keep the ice and atmosphere cold, the arena itself will be pumping the AC. So I would suggest bringing along a jacket or sweater of some sort.
Costumes – Since I’m talking about attire, I want to mention that the whole experience is way more fun when the family dresses up. Even if just the kids want to, let them wear their Anna and Elsa costumes from Halloween. While this show has a Frozen theme, there’s no reason they can’t dress up as other Disney characters, either. Mickey, Minnie, other Disney Princesses, Dory, Woody, Buzz…enjoy the night and let your Disney side out.
Food & Memorabilia – There will be food at concession stands and lots of fun Disney-themed goodies to purchase, so be prepared. Think light up toys, maybe some mouse ears, cups, T-shirts, anything and everything Disney.
